Infinity Challenges

Conquering all 9 challenges for powerful bonuses

Overview

Infinity Challenges unlock with upgrade 7:1. Each challenge imposes a handicap but rewards you with:

  • A challenge-specific bonus
  • +1 to your IP gain multiplier (up to x10 when all 9 are complete)

Click a challenge 3 times to activate it (it will turn yellow). Completing all 9 challenges unlocks Break Infinity, which dramatically increases IP gains.

📝Important Notes

  • • Turn OFF promotion automation during challenges (except Challenge 9)
  • • Make sure Infinity is NOT broken when attempting challenges
  • • Time Flux can speed up longer challenges, but disable it near the end
  • • You can exit a challenge by clicking it 3 times

Challenge Strategies

Challenge #1: Promotions 2 & 4 Disabled

When: Immediately after unlocking challenges

Handicap: Can only use Mult Gain Mult (#1) and Ascension Power (#3)

Strategy: Straightforward run, just slower without Laps Speed bonus. Play normally.

Time: ~40 minutes

Reward: Promotions 2 and 4 are stronger

Challenge #2: Weak Ascension Power

When: Right after Challenge 1

Handicap: Ascension Power divided by 4

Strategy: Easy with upgrades. Ascensions are weaker but manageable.

Time: ~20 minutes

Reward: Ascension Power x1.2

Challenge #3: Reduced Exponent

When: All upgrades through Column 8, own 2x G1

Handicap: Common Exponent reduced by 0.4

Strategy: Slower growth but normal gameplay. Multiple prestiges/promotions needed.

Time: ~30 minutes

Reward: +0.03 to Common Exponent

Challenge #4: Weak Prestige & Promotions

When: Own 1x G2, Column 9 upgrades optional but helpful

Handicap: Prestige and Promote gains powered to ^0.4

Strategy: Prestige at higher orders of magnitude (e10 → e13-14). Get #1 to ~30, #2 to 2-3, cycle promotions multiple times. Promotion #1 scales better - use it for final push to ~35. May slow at 80% (e260) - do more prestiges and wait for generators to build up.

Time: ~1 hour (longest early challenge)

Reward: +1 level to all promotions after Infinity

Challenge #5: Extremely Weak Promotions

When: Right after Challenge 4

Handicap: All promotions much weaker (x1.12 at level 40 instead of normal power)

Strategy: Ignore promotions mostly - they barely help. Let generators and prestige carry you. If doing promotions, wait for levels 70-80 and cycle once.

Time: ~20 minutes

Reward: All promotions slightly stronger

Challenge #6: Decaying Multipliers

When: Right after Challenge 5

Handicap: Multipliers decay fast over time (limited to 1 minimum)

Strategy: Only circle multipliers decay - Prestige/Promote multipliers don't! Focus on building P.Mult and promotion levels. This is actually easy and fast.

Time: ~4 minutes

Reward: All Generators 2x stronger

Challenge #7: Time-Based Penalty

When: All upgrades through Column 13, own 3x G1

Handicap: All Mults divided by (time in Infinity)²

Strategy: SPEEDRUN! Turn off all automation. Keep Red circle unascended unless Yellow is ready (maintain high laps/s at level 50+). Rush to first Promotion #1 at level 4-5 with prestiges at x20-30, x200-300, x10k-15k. Then get Promotion #2 to level 5-10. Final push: #3 to 25, #4 to 40, #1 to 70.

Time: ~18 minutes

Reward: All Mults multiplied by (time in Infinity)^0.2

Challenge #8: No Ascensions

When: All upgrades through Column 14, own 4x G1

Handicap: Ascensions completely disabled

Strategy: Rely entirely on Prestige and Promotions. Don't use Promotion #3 (Ascension Power) - it does nothing. Get other promotions to ~100 levels total and wait it out.

Time: ~12 minutes

Reward: +2 to base Ascension Power

Challenge #9: Only Four Colors

When: Right after Challenge 8

Handicap: Only Red, Orange, Yellow, and Green circles available

Strategy: LONG GRIND. Automate prestige and promotions (ok to use automation here). Do promotions when gains are significant. Mostly wait for generators to build up. Get all challenge times under 1 minute before attempting for better multipliers.

Time: ~1-2.5 hours

Reward: 2x Infinities gain + Break Infinity unlocked!

🏁After Completing All Challenges

Your total challenge time sum should be around 8-10 hours initially. Don't worry - you'll improve these times dramatically later. Breaking Infinity is now available and will transform your IP gains!

Reducing Challenge Times

After breaking Infinity, you'll want to re-run challenges to reduce your total time. Lower times boost several important upgrades (15:2-4, 16:3, 17:2). Goals to aim for:

  • First reduction: Under 10 minutes total
  • Second reduction: Under 5-7 minutes total
  • Third reduction: Under 3 minutes total
  • Final goal: Under 1 minute total (some challenges become instant)

For manual runs, use hotkeys (P for prestige, 1-4 for promotions). Turn off all automation for best times, except Challenge 9 where automation is acceptable.
