Breaking Infinity

Exponential IP gains and the path to Eternity

What is Broken Infinity?

After completing all 9 challenges, you can Break Infinity in the Challenges tab. This allows you to continue past 1.79e308 Score, and every time your score increases by e308 (one full progress bar), your IP gain multiplies by x10.

For example, reaching e3,080 Score fills the x10 bar once. At e3,388 you'll have x10,000 IP multiplier. This exponential scaling is where IP farming really takes off!

First Broken Infinity Setup

Before your first broken run, set up proper automation. Upgrade 15:1 unlocks Auto Infinity (only works when Infinity is broken):

Automate Prestige:

Min Exponent: 0 | Min P.Mult: 1000 | Time: 0-0.10s

(Time adds a delay before prestige - test 0.00s vs 0.10s to see what works better)

Automate Promote:

#2: +10 Levels, 1s (Lap Speed first)

#1: +10 Levels, 1s

#3: +10 Levels, 1s

#4: +10 Levels, 1s

(1s delay is CRITICAL - keeps promotions balanced. Without it, one promotion can be 50+ levels ahead)

Automate Infinity:

Leave OFF for now - we need to find optimal timing

Finding Your Sweet Spot

For your first broken run with Auto Infinity OFF:

  1. Watch the run until auto prestige and promotions start slowing down significantly
  2. Click "Infinite for XX IP" or check Statistics for total IP and IP/s
  3. Set Min IP in Auto Infinity to this amount (or slightly lower), then turn it ON

For reference, initial broken runs might claim around 700 IP in 1:50 for ~6.4 IP/s. This will improve dramatically with each upgrade!

⚠️Common Mistake

Don't let broken runs go for hours thinking you'll get massive IP. The gains taper off significantly after the initial acceleration. Find your peak IP/s and claim there.

Upgrade Priority

Buy upgrades in this general order, re-running challenges after major purchases:

  • 16:1-3 first, then generators (10k each)
  • Reduce challenge times to under 15 minutes
  • Generators (100k each), reduce challenges to under 10 minutes
  • 17:1-3, then generators. Reduce challenges to under 3 minutes
  • 18:1-3 and beyond, keep reducing challenge times to under 1 minute

After each upgrade purchase, test new Auto Infinity settings. Often you can increase Min IP by 2-3x after buying an upgrade.

The e3,080 Milestone

Around upgrade 17:1 and after getting challenge times under 1 minute, you'll notice something special happens at 1.8e3,080 Score (there's an achievement for this milestone). Your IP/s will skyrocket!

At this point, switch to longer runs to find optimal timing:

  1. Turn OFF Auto Infinity or set it very high
  2. Run for 30-40 minutes, note IP and IP/s
  3. Run for 50-60 minutes, compare IP/s to previous run
  4. If longer run had better IP/s, try an even longer run (test up to 90 minutes)
  5. Once you find the peak, set Auto Infinity to that IP amount or use a timer

💡Long Run Strategy

For expensive upgrades (17:1 and beyond), 60-90 minute runs often give the best IP/s. Set a timer and claim manually when it goes off. Each run will earn more IP and take less time as you buy more upgrades.

Stars Mechanics

After buying all Infinity Upgrades, Stars unlock (requires upgrade 21:1). Save up 2e33 IP before unlocking - you'll need 1e33 for the upgrade and 1e33 for your first Star.

Stars generate Stardust, which multiplies Generator Power:

  • Stars: Bought with IP. Each star costs increasingly more (starts at e33, increases by e3, later by e7+)
  • Stardust: Resets when you claim IP. Spend it before each reset!

Stardust Upgrades (Priority Order):

  1. [1;1] - Makes Infinity Upgrade 1;1 affect more generators (starts at G1, adds G2, G3, etc. - strongest upgrade)
  2. [2;1] - Increases exp. box power (+0.01 per purchase, max +0.5)
  3. Infinity Gain - Multiplies IP gain (+1x per purchase, unlimited)
  4. [18;1] Speed - Makes upgrade 18;1 faster (1.05x per purchase, max 62.62x)

Always buy upgrades immediately when you have enough Stardust.

Stars Gameplay Loop

Once Stars are unlocked, follow this cycle:

  1. Spend all Stardust on upgrades (in priority order above)
  2. Do a long run to save IP for Stars/Generators. Reset around 2eXX IP (e39, e50, etc.)
  3. Buy Stars, Star Upgrades (Star Base, Star Exponent), and Generators
  4. Run challenges again to reduce total time
  5. Do one fast Infinity
  6. Repeat

💡Star Priorities

When Stars and Star Upgrades cost the same, prioritize: Star Base → Star Exponent → Stars. But if one is significantly cheaper, buy that first.

The Road to Eternity

Your ultimate goal is reaching 1.79e308 IP. This seems impossibly huge (it's the double-precision floating point maximum), but with Stars and proper automation, you'll get there!

As you approach this milestone:

  • IP gains will become exponentially faster with each Star
  • Long runs (potentially several hours) become worthwhile
  • Make sure all challenge times are minimized (under 1 minute total)
  • When you reach the threshold, "Eternate" will appear above the Infinity button - click it!

🏁First Eternity

Most players reach their first Eternity around 3-5 days of playtime. You'll receive your first Eternity (⏰) and Eternity Point (EP), opening a whole new progression layer with Animals, Labs, and much more!
