Eternity Challenges

Conquering challenges for Animal Points and powerful bonuses

Overview

Eternity Challenges unlock at Milestone #6 (8 Eternities). Unlike Infinity Challenges, each Eternity Challenge (EC) has 5 difficulties (or 6 with Insane Trial 4 completed). Each difficulty completed awards:

  • +1 Animal Point (AP) - Free AP for each difficulty!
  • A challenge-specific bonus that scales with difficulty
  • Progress toward Challenge Milestones

📝Key Differences from Infinity Challenges

  • • Completion time does NOT matter - no need to rush
  • • Once completed, no reason to re-run (bonus awarded once per difficulty)
  • • Each EC unlocks after completing Difficulty 2 of the previous EC
  • • Total of 60 EC difficulties (10 challenges × 5-6 difficulties each)

When to Attempt Challenges

Don't attempt challenges immediately when unlocked if they'll take over 30 minutes. General strategy:

  1. Start the challenge and wait 30-60 seconds for buildup
  2. Compare your current Score to the Goal
  3. If the gap is massive, exit and try later when stronger
  4. If it looks achievable in under 30 minutes, continue

Make sure you've maxed out your Animal Points (bought with Score/IP) before attempting challenges, as this gives you more Animals for bonuses during the run.

Challenge Milestones

Challenge Milestones unlock as you complete EC difficulties:

Milestone #1 (3 EC completions)

Keep Infinity Challenge times on Eternity. IMPORTANT: Complete EC 1 difficulties 1-3 first, then reduce your Infinity Challenge times as much as possible before Eternating!

Milestone #2 (5 EC completions)

Prestiging resets nothing. Game-changer! Set Auto Prestige to x2 or whatever you want.

Milestone #3 (8 EC completions)

Unlocks Supernova! Major new mechanic for progression. Go Supernova when possible for bonuses.

Milestone #4 (10 EC completions)

Keep fastest Infinity time on Eternity. Required for Animals Milestone #5 (100% IP/sec) to work correctly.

Milestones #5-6 (30, 32 EC completions)

Every 4 Supernovae gives +1 free level to all Lab (RP) upgrades. Stacks twice (total +2 per 4 SN).

Milestone #7 (35 EC completions)

Every 2 Supernovae gives another free level to all RP upgrades.

Milestone #8 (50 EC completions)

Unlocks Dilation Tree! New upgrade system for Dilation phase.

Milestone #9 (60 EC completions)

2x Magnet Chance. All milestones complete!

Challenge Details & Strategies

Challenge #1: Slow Like a Snail

Handicap: Lap Speed divided by increasing amounts (20 → 128 → 512 → 2000 → 7500)

Goal: Reach 1e30,000 Score (all difficulties)

Reward: Lap Speed multiplier (x2 → x4 → x7 → x12 → x20)

When: D1 right after unlock (8Σ). D2-3 after getting 2;4 and 2;5 Animals for lap speed boost.

Strategy: Enable all automation and wait. D1 takes ~90 minutes (first Infinity is 40-50 mins). D2-3 are similar but slower - having 2;4 and 2;5 Animals makes a huge difference. Break Eternity helps significantly.

Challenge #2: Exponent Reduction

Handicap: Common Exponent multiplied by decreasing values (0.5 → 0.4 → 0.3 → 0.2 → 0.1)

Goal: Varying Score targets (1e150 → 1e142 → 1e240 → 1e13,000 → 1e8,500)

Reward: Bonus to Common Exponent (+0.03 → +0.05 → +0.07 → +0.1 → +0.15)

When: D1-2 right after EC1 D2-3 with 2;4 and 2;5 Animals

Strategy: Focus on cycling Promotions like early game. D1-2 have low Score requirements despite the handicap. Focus on Promotions 1, 3, 4 for D2.

Challenge #3: No Stars

Handicap: Stars are completely disabled

Goal: Increasing Score (1e13,000 → 1e18,000 → 1e30,000 → 1e40,000 → 1e50,000)

Reward: Bonus to Star Base (x1 → x2 → x5 → x5 → x20)

When: D1 right after EC2 D2

Strategy: Focus on Promotions and Generators since Stars don't exist. Straightforward but slow.

Challenge #4: Weak Generators

Handicap: Generator exponent divided by increasing amounts (10 → 15 → 20 → 30 → 50)

Goal: Increasing Score (e15,000 → e25,000 → e50,000 → e60,000 → e70,000)

Reward: Generator exponent multiplier (x1.05 → x1.10 → x1.20 → x1.30 → x1.50)

Strategy: Attempt as you progress. Wait for buildup, check if achievable.

Challenge #5: Weak Ascension Power

Handicap: Ascension Power to very low exponents (^0.1 → ^0.07 → ^0.05 → ^0.03 → ^0.01)

Goal: Increasing Score (e60,000 → e90,000 → e120,000 → e150,000 → e200,000)

Reward: Ascension Power multiplier (x1.5 → x2 → x3 → x5 → x10)

Strategy: Complete as progression allows. No special tactics needed.

Challenge #6: No Prestige/Promotions

Handicap: Prestige and Promotions provide no bonuses

Goal: Increasing Score (e120,000 → e180,000 → e350,000 → e500,000 → e750,000)

Reward: Prestige Bonuses multiplier (x1.05 → x1.1 → x1.15 → x1.2 → x1.3)

Strategy: Rely on base stats, Generators, and Eternity bonuses. Patience required.

Challenge #7: No Lab

Handicap: Laboratory (RP upgrades) provide no bonuses

Goal: Increasing Score (e100,000 → e160,000 → e200,000 → e250,000 → e320,000)

Reward: Free levels to all RP upgrades (+5 → +10 → +15 → +20 → +30)

Strategy: D3 is a hard milestone requiring most Animals, Lab respec to Gen Power Exponent and Common Exponent (1:2 ratio), Supernova ~36, and ~10k+ Eternities.

Challenge #8: Weak IP Gain

Handicap: IP Gain to very low exponents (^0.05 → ^0.04 → ^0.03 → ^0.02 → ^0.01)

Goal: High Score targets (e550,000 → e450,000 → e450,000 → e450,000 → e200,000)

Reward: IP Gain exponent increase (x1.01 → x1.02 → x1.03 → x1.05 → x1.1)

Strategy: D2 is another hard milestone with same requirements as EC7 D3 (most Animals, Lab respec, Supernova ~36, ~10k+ Eternities).

Challenge #9: No Generators

Handicap: Generators provide no bonuses

Goal: Increasing Score (e240,000 → e400,000 → e500,000 → e600,000 → e700,000)

Reward: Generator exponent multiplier (x2 → x3 → x3.5 → x4 → x5)

When: D3+ require significant Dilation progress

Strategy: For EC9, respec Lab to ALL Common Exponent since Generators don't work. D3: EP e800-e900, Dilation ~e70,000, Supernova 55-56. D4: EP e1000+, Dilation ~e90,000, Supernova 58. D5: Supernova 61.

Challenge #10: Triple Dilation

Handicap: Trapped in triple Dilation (3x Dilation penalties)

Goal: Increasing Score (1 Million → 1 Billion → e100 → e308 → higher)

Reward: Dilation Points multiplier (x2 → x5 → x10 → x25 → x100)

When: Deep Dilation phase (requires high Dilation Upgrade 1)

Strategy: Respec Lab to ALL Common Exponent (Generators don't work in Dilation). D1: DU1 ~182 (~30 mins). D2: DU1 ~220-240 (~2 hours). D3: DU1 ~337 (~7 mins). D4: DU1 ~390-396 (~3 hours or 13 secs). D5: DU1 ~440-450 (~15 mins).

🏁Challenge Progression Summary

Most challenges through EC8 D2 will be completed as you naturally progress Animals and Lab. EC7 D3 and EC8 D2 are major bottlenecks requiring ~10k Eternities, Supernova 36, and most Animals. EC9-10 require deep Dilation progression.
